Mom's Craving

Mom were craving for "nilagang baboy" yesterday so he requested Dad to cook it for her. Mom has not eaten any rice for four days already. She just eats apple, mango and dewberry (blueberry flavor).

So they went to the wet market to buy all the ingredients while they left Dad's car to be washed. As soon as they got home, Dad started cooking while Mom's upstairs tending her farm. ;) She's kinda addicted to facebook farmtown lately *grin*.

By 7pm, they were already eating the "nilagang baboy". According to Dad, his nilagang baboy is tastier than that of the Leslies Bulalo. Leslies is a famous restaurant in Tagaytay. Sometimes they just go to Tagaytay just to eat their famous Bulalo.

I think it really tasted good becuase Mom was able to finish her serving. Dad's really good with cooking. I think he got it from my Grand Mother who also cooks good. I hope ill get that trait from him.

My First Lullaby

Mom's really excited to hold me already in her arms and sing me lullaby. She's so good when it comes to helping babies to sleep. Im sure, I wont have sleepless nights because she'll sing me one of her favorite songs.

More Lab Tests

Yesterday, I am officially 7 weeks in my mom's tummy.

She went again to the hospital to undergo several tests (urinalysis and blood extraction).
So far, this it the most expensive lab test she had eversince she found out they are having me.

Upon arriving at the hospital, she went to the canteen first she has not eaten anything that day. Good thing, there were fruits! Fruits are the only things she could really swallow. Right now, she doesnt like the smell of newly cooked food and the smell of their pantry in the office. Though she tried eating rice and "sisig" yesterday for lunch, it only upset her tummy.

As she's waiting for her number to be called, she ate the mixed fruit she bought then Dad arrive who slept at grandma's house in Novaliches the night before yesterday. Dad waited for her as she underwent laborary tests. Mom's really afraid of needle and she has to give 6 vials of blood! Well, for me she'll do anything.

Later will be another check up with Dr. Mae.
Hope the results of yesterdays lab tests are good.

Morning Sickness

Mommy's not feeling good today.

It seems that she's always about to throw up.

She feels like she hasn't sleep well last night.

She was chatting with Daddy who's currently busy because of all the calls he's getting.

Dad was just promoted last month and instead of being "petiks", it seems he has more work to do.

Dad told Mom that she has to learn how to control her morning sickness since she'll be dealing with it for 9 months. Hmm.. we really need to have a nice sleep everynight so she won't have to deal with her morning sickness again.

My First Picture

My mommy went to the doctor yesterday for her schedule of an ultrasound.

Dad went with her of course. ;)

This is the first time they'll see me.

I was kinda excited. They'll see how tiny i am.

The Best Gift Ever

Yesterday, it was my Mom's schedule to go to her doctor to check if the medicine she gave her last time worked. You see, my mother got Urinary Track Infection and has been going to several check ups just to get rid of this. She had urinalysis the day before yesterday. And yesterday, Dr. Mae checked the result.

It turned out she still have UTI. But not as high as before. Dr. Mae was about to give her another medicine, when she was asked when was her last menstruation.

Mom: June 1
Dr. Mae: Are you pregnant?
Mom: I dont know. I stopped testing. I just get frustrated whenever I see single line.
Dr. Mae: You have to test to see if you are pregnant. You are, 2 weeks delayed.
This are the meds you have to take. It's safe if in case you are expecting.

When Mom went out of her clinic, Daddy was outside waiting. They immediately went to the nearest drugstore and bought the meds including a pregnancy test kit.

As soon as she gets home, she tested if she's indeed expecting..

TWO SINGLE LINES at last!

Mom cant believe how blessed she is that day.
She was really crying.
And Dad was teasing her.
She already got what she needed from Dad... a baby! ;)

Dad didn't go to work that night.
They watched Ice Age 3 and had dinner to celebrate.
My mom also, did not go to work today.
She's too overwhelmed... that she's having me!
